Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a number of mainstream secondary schools across South West London who are seeking qualified and experienced Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teachers to support their departments.
This role is ideal for confident and engaging teachers who can deliver high-quality language lessons and inspire students to develop their communication and cultural understanding.
About the Role
Teaching Modern Foreign Languages (French, Spanish, or both) across KS3–KS4 (KS5 opportunities depending on experience)
Delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that promote language development
Following school schemes of work or delivering pre-planned lessons
Supporting students with varying abilities and encouraging participation
Opportunities available across Tooting, Wandsworth, Clapham, Brixton and surrounding South West London areas
Day-to-day supply, short-term, and long-term placements available
Full-time and part-time opportunities
Essential Requirements – Please Read Carefully
✔️ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
✔️ Degree in a Modern Foreign Language or related subject
✔️ Experience teaching MFL in UK secondary schools
✔️ Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
✔️ Ability to engage and motivate students in language learning
✔️ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
⚠️ Please do not apply if you do not hold QTS or do not have experience teaching MFL in a UK secondary school. Applications that do not meet these criteria will not be considered.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
