SEN Teacher - Primary and Secondary

Are you a qualified and passionate SEN Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs?

Do you have experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, or other Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

The Classroom Experts are working with several Primary, Secondary, and Specialist SEN Schools in Wandsworth and surrounding areas, seeking dedicated tachers to join their teams. This role is ideal for teachers who are empathetic, patient, and eager to develop their expertise in inclusive education.

Job Description:

* Position: SEN Teacher (Open to Qualified Primary and Secondary Teachers)

* Location:

Wandsworth, London

* Working Hours:

08:30 – 15:30

* Contract Type:
Full-time, Monday to Friday

* Salary: £180 - £250 per day (depending on experience)

* Start Date:

ASAP

* Opportunities for permanent contracts

Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs.

* Support pupils with ASD, SEMH, and other additional needs to access the curriculum effectively.

* Implement behaviour management strategies and create a nurturing learning environment.

* Work closely with SEN specialists, including Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, and Educational Psychologists.

* Adapt teaching methods to support children with varying abilities and needs.

Person Specification:

* QTS required.

* Experience or a strong interest in SEN.

* Passionate about inclusive education and supporting children’s holistic development.

* Able to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.

* Willingness to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

* Must have a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
