• The primary job duty is to provide basic medical attention to patients and assess their needs.
• Day-to-day coordination and oversight of the nursing process for residents assigned to care.
• Direct and indirect provision of care according to each resident's nursing and medical plan of care and in accordance with state and federal regulations and accepted nursing standards of practice.
• Assessing, observing, and evaluating residents' clinical condition, documenting findings in the resident electronic medical record and notifying the provider and/or RN when necessary.
• Updating or modifying care plans as needed to reflect changes to a resident’s care and service needs.
• Administering medications timely, accurately and according to orders.
• Participating in meetings related to resident outcomes and care.
• Responding to residents, family, or responsible parties in a timely and professional manner.
