School Meals Supervisory Assistant (SMSA)

Location:

Virginia Water, Shepperton, Surrey (Manor Mead School)
Salary: SP1/2 Pro Rata – £5458‑£5557 pa (FTE £23,322)

Contract:

Fixed Term – One Year initially (10 hours per week, 38.2 weeks per year)

Hours:

11.45am – 1.45pm, Monday‑Friday, term time only

• Support children during the busy lunch‑time period at our primary school site.
• Assist with meal supervision and ensure the welfare of children.

• Friendly, reliable, and able to work with children with severe and profound learning difficulties.
• Relevant experience or a willingness to learn to work in a special education setting is beneficial.

Manor Mead School is a Federation of two Outstanding schools for pupils with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties, some with associated autism. The primary school for 4‑11 year olds is in Shepperton with a satellite provision in Virginia Water; our secondary school is Walton Leigh for 11‑19 year olds. From January 1, Manor Mead and Walton Leigh will become part of London South East Academies Trust.
