My client is an the owner of an independent property consultancy providing building surveying, project management and cost consultancy services across London and the Southeast. Working on his own, he is now looking for added support as the business demand continues to grow. The business has built a strong reputation for delivering high quality professional advice focusing on project work and a diverse client base including private residential landlords and developers, Local Authorities and education providers.

This role is ideal for a newly qualified or intermediate graduate Building Surveyor looking to develop technically and professionally within a supportive consultancy environment. You ll gain exposure to a wide range of surveying and project-based work, working alongside experienced Chartered Surveyors who are actively involved in mentoring and developing their team.

The role offers excellent variety, strong client interaction, and the opportunity to build long-term experience supporting property portfolios while delivering projects on time and within budget.

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Assisting with and delivering building surveys and inspections
• Preparing reports including feasibility studies, condition surveys and defect diagnosis
• Supporting design development, specifications and schedules of works
• Assisting with contract administration and project management duties
• Working on refurbishment and improvement projects across residential and public-sector assets
• Liaising with clients, consultants and contractors
• Supporting Chartered Surveyors across multiple projects and property portfolios

The Person:

• Building Surveying or relevant Degree
• Driving License
• Based in Surrey or London
