Nursery Room Leader - Preschool

We are seeking a new Room Leader for our Pre - school room. We are looking for individuals either with previous experience leading a room, or who are looking to take that step up and can promote high quality care in a stimulating, happy and rich learning environment which offers wonderful opportunities for our pre-schoolers.

Room leader duties involve;

* Assisting the Nursery Management in providing day to day high quality childcare.

* Being responsible for and managing the staff within the room.

* Provide a positive learning environment that offers choice, experiences, independence and meets all the children needs.

* Be able to have key person responsibility and carry out daily and individual planning.

* Ensuring a safe, secure and caring environment for the well-being of the children.

* Leading a small team.

The ideal candidate will;

* Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play and be safe.

* Have previous experience of working with children under the age of five.

* Have previous room lead experience or deputy room lead/ senior practitioner experience (highly desirable)

* Be qualified at Level 3 or equivalent in childcare.

* Have a good understanding of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stages)

* Be able to work well in a team

* Have good leadership skills.

Hours:

39 hours over 4 days per week (one set day off each week)
