Spanish / MFL Teacher - Secondary - Waltham Forest
Pay:
Daily rate - £180-£280 DOE
Contract:
Full-time | Temporary or Permanent
Start: ASAP or next term

We're working with a mainstream secondary school in Waltham Forest looking for a Spanish / MFL Teacher who enjoys teaching and building confidence in young people, not just ticking boxes.
This is a practical classroom role delivering Spanish across KS3 and KS4, following a clear and well-sequenced curriculum that focuses on progression, engagement, and real-world language skills. The department is supportive, well-organised, and realistic about workload.
ECTs are very welcome to apply.
Unqualified teachers with strong subject knowledge and classroom experience will also be considered.
The role:
Teach Spanish across KS3 and KS4
Deliver engaging lessons aligned to the MFL curriculum
Support pupil progression and development
Maintain clear expectations and consistent behaviour management
Work as part of a collaborative languages department
This role suits someone who:
Enjoys teaching languages in a mainstream secondary setting
Has strong Spanish subject knowledge
Can manage a classroom confidently and calmly
Is open to learning, feedback, and professional development
Is an ECT, an experienced teacher, or an unqualified teacher with the right attitude
