Estimating Manager – Construction
Salary: £110,000–£130,000 + bonus (DOE, flexible for exceptional candidates)

We are seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to join a well-established and growing construction contractor delivering public sector new build and refurbishment projects.
This newly created senior role offers the opportunity to lead and develop the estimating function, with direct influence over strategy and processes. Strong Senior Estimators looking to step into management will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and develop a team of 6 Estimators

* Manage tenders from £100k–£10m across public sector projects

* Oversee pricing, cost planning, risk allowances and submissions

* Deliver accurate and competitive tenders for new build and refurbishment works

* Liaise with clients, consultants and internal commercial teams

* Improve estimating systems, processes and consistency

* Report directly to senior management
About You

* Estimating Manager or Senior Estimator ready to step up

* UK construction estimating experience (public sector preferred)

* Experience in new build and refurbishment projects

* Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills

* Able to manage multiple tenders to tight deadlines
