Outside Sales Representative
We are seeking a positive, motivated, and results‑driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. Our ideal candidate will excel in prospecting new business and relationship building while maintaining a strong commitment to meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Responsibilities- New Business Development: Identify and prospect clients within your assigned territory and develop & manage leads, scheduling 8–10 daily sales appointments. Ensure timely follow‑up through the Lansing Sales Cycle.
- Customer Meetings: Meet face‑to‑face and educate contractors, remodelers, & builders on our products/services, demonstrating the value and benefits for their organization.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain long‑term relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and proactively offering solutions.
- Sales Reporting: Utilize Salesforce to track and report on sales activities.
- Skillset: Strong communication and negotiation skills; confident and persuasive demeanor. Ability to establish rapport & deliver on promises.
- Winning Mindset: A relentless drive to drive new business and exceed sales targets.
- Time Management: Exceptional time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Customer‑Obsessed: Passion for understanding and fulfilling client needs to help them grow their business using a solutions‑oriented approach.
- Integrity: History of strong ethical behavior and high integrity.
- 2+ years of experience in territory management, B2B outside sales, with a focus on new business development.
- Experience with CRM software to manage and track sales activity.
- Familiarity with Building Materials, Construction, or Wholesale Territory Sales.
- College degree preferred but not required.
- Base salary (range to be provided) plus uncapped commission, with a strong focus on performance‑based incentives.
- Company Car: Personal usage & all expenses paid.

- Eligibility to qualify for an annual sales incentive trip.
