The Inside Sales Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for driving pipeline growth across the Nova portfolio by identifying, engaging, and developing new opportunities within assigned accounts and target markets. This role focuses on outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow‑up, and rapid engagement when speed to contact is critical. The BDR partners closely with Account Managers, Clinical Sales Specialists, Inside Sales Account Managers, and Field Applications to ensure opportunities are properly developed, routed, and advanced to support regional and national growth objectives.

What you’ll do- Carry an individual Inside Sales role, managing assigned accounts and opportunities.
- Drive revenue growth through renewals, upgrades, add‑on opportunities, and proactive outbound activity.
- Ensure timely follow‑up and engagement on inbound and routed leads, particularly when speed to contact is critical.
- Partner closely with Account Managers and Specialists to support account strategies, opportunity progression, and customer coverage.
- Establish and reinforce standard workflows, sales processes, and best practices across the Inside Sales team.
- Maintain accurate opportunity management, forecasting, and activity documentation within for both individual and team‑owned opportunities.
- Participate in regional and national sales meetings, business reviews, and planning sessions.
- Escalate risks, gaps, or operational issues as appropriate and collaborate with leadership to drive resolution.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Clinical, scientific, or business‑related degree preferred.
- Demonstrated success in inside sales, account management, or customer‑facing sales roles within healthcare, diagnostics, or medical devices.
