Research Scientist
This is an onsite position based in Waltham, MA. Candidates requiring relocation will not be considered for the position.
Your Tasks:
The intern will participate in the development and improvement of new technologies. They will join a multidisciplinary team and execute experiments for molecular biology & chemistry development as well as providing technical support the project scientists.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with senior scientist to design and execute experiments for molecular biology workflow development and spatial biology and chemistry.
- Keep detailed documentation in an electronic lab notebook.
- Use basic molecular biological techniques, i.e.
- PCR, running gel, handling DNA and RNA. - Plan and conduct molecular biology experiments.
- Learn data analysis skills in molecular biology and NGS sequencing.
- Interpret data and make recommendation on further development.
Requirements:
- Basic molecular biology bench skills
- Pipetting Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (Words, Powerpoint, Excel)
- Team oriented
- Work independently

This job is performed in a temperature controlled, handicap-accessible facility without exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures. Generally, this job is performed in an office environment.
