Job Summary:
This is the Finland for an active participant that wants a hands‑on, high detail work environment that contributes to the aerospace industry. This is an entry level job – no experience necessary but is preferred.
Duties include following work instructions to:
Intake & Inventory
- Follow work instructions to identify the masks that work with specific parts, and assemble them for painting operations.
- Airbrush apply paints to customer parts. Some paint spraying is done by a robotic tool.
- Assist in demasking the parts, cleaning off any overspray.
- Bake the parts in our ovens to cure the paint.
- Clean off and restocking masks for reuse.
- Inspect the parts to ensure coating accuracy and color.
- Measure color value with spectrometer
- Prepare the parts for shipment using cleanroom packaging.
Higher level employees will help to:
- Identify opportunities to reduce cost, improve manufacturability and decrease scrap
- Train new hires
- Learn Quality Control in an ISO/NADCAP environment
- Be a U.S. person (citizen or permanent resident, as some work is ITAR controlled)
- Have 20/20 corrected vision
- Climb stairs, occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
- Experience handling or shipping hazardous material or dangerous goods by ground or air.
- Read and follow work instructions written in English.
- Understand engineering drawings.
- Communicate with other staff and collaborate on problem solving
- Work in a team atmosphere and be willing to fill in other areas if and when needed
- Be comfortable and safe in a laboratory or cleanroom environment.
- Properly wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) and follow all safety and company policies.
