This is a full-time, on-site role for a Star Machinist in Waltham, MA. The Star Machinist will operate and maintain Star CNC machines, ensuring precision and quality in the production of components. Daily responsibilities include setting up Star Machines, conducting quality checks, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with the production team to meet manufacturing deadlines. The position requires strict adherence to safety protocols and a commitment to continuous process improvement.

• Expertise in operating CNC machines, particularly Star CNC equipment
• Proficiency in precision machining, editing programs, and troubleshooting processes
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members
• Adherence to safety and operational protocols in a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience in a precision machining or manufacturing role is preferred
• Technical certification or relevant training in CNC machining or manufacturing technology is a plus
