Overview
Overview Reporting to Repligen’s Vice President – Supply Chain & Strategic Programs, this position requires a driven individual whose knowledge and skills will help Repligen collaboratively transform on the most important initiatives. This high profile role will lead the initiatives across the company with the most strategic importance as determined by the executive team. Projects typically pertain to commercial success, financial and process optimization, product development and marketing, and operational efficiency.
The Director, Strategic Programs will lead enterprise-level initiatives that drive Repligen’s growth and operational excellence. This role is responsible for establishing and managing the Program Management Office (PMO) framework, ensuring strategic alignment, and delivering measurable outcomes across multiple high-impact projects. Initial focus areas include Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration

- Program Leadership & Governance
- Establish and oversee PMO standards, methodologies, and tools to ensure consistent execution across strategic programs.
- Define program governance, reporting cadence, and effective facilitation processes.
- Strategic Initiative Delivery
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex programs on time, within scope, and budget.
- Drive initiatives in AI adoption for operational efficiency, cost-of-quality reduction strategies, pricing optimization, and other strategic priorities
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with senior leadership to align programs with corporate objectives and communicate progress effectively.
- Host executive steering committees and ensure transparency on plans, progress, KPIs and ROI.
- Continuous Improvement
- Implement best practices for program lifecycle management, including lessons learned and process optimization.
- Champion data-driven decision-making and digital transformation initiatives.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or PMP certification preferred. - Experience:
10+ years in program or project portfolio management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. - Proven success in establishing PMO frameworks and managing enterprise-level programs.
- Experience with leading transformational projects in a manufacturing or life sciences environment.
- Consulting experience is a plus.
- Skills:
Strong leadership and influencing skills across matrix organizations. - Expertise in financial modeling, risk management, and change management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Broad business acumen and strong facilitation skills to help others think in new ways
- Design-based thinking approach to orient teams to new and novel solutions

The estimated base salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $,000. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual s qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
