Metrology Technician

We are hiring immediately for a full time METROLOGY TECHNICIAN position.

Location: AstraZeneca - 35 Gatehouse Drive, Waltham, Massachusetts 02451. Online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full time;
Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Pay Range: $40.00 per hour to $50.00 per hour.

• Prior metrology technician experience is preferred.
• Equipment Certification:
  Manage and support vendor certification for Biosafety Cabinets (BSCs), Ventilated Balance Enclosures (VBEs), Down Draft Tables, Calibrate 5 Gas Meters, DP sensors and Animal Transfer Stations.
• Vendor Coordination:
  Serve as the primary point of contact for external service providers, managing schedules and overseeing on-site vendor maintenance and repairs.
• Water Systems:
  Manage and perform routine maintenance and preventive maintenance (PMs) on Millipore (Reverse Osmosis) units to ensure high-purity water standards.

• Prior metrology technician experience preferred.
• Experience managing vendor certification for laboratory equipment.
• Experience coordinating vendor maintenance and repairs.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance on reverse osmosis units.
