Thermo Fisher Scientific, the global leader in serving science, is seeking an Associate Workflow Automation Developer to join our IT, Data & Tech division in Bangalore. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects that streamline marketing and creative operations through workflow automation.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in designing, building, and maintaining automation workflows using platforms like Workfront Fusion.
- Translate business requirements into scalable automation solutions under senior developer guidance.
- Support testing, troubleshooting, and monitoring of workflows to ensure performance and data accuracy.
- Manage integrations between systems such as Workfront, AEM, Seismic, DAM, and other marketing technologies.
- Document workflow logic, dependencies, and process changes for reference and audits.
- Collaborate with marketing and creative operations teams to identify automation opportunities.
- Contribute to performance reviews of existing automations and suggest improvements.
- Curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn automation platforms and integration concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Clear communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable working independently while following direction from senior developers.
- Open to continuous learning and professional growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Operations, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 0–2 years of experience in marketing operations, system administration, or data integration.
- Familiarity with workflow automation tools such as Workfront, Workfront Fusion, Make, Power Automate, or Zapier preferred.
- Basic understanding of data structures (JSON, XML) and APIs is a plus.
- Experience in process documentation or basic system configuration is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset with enthusiasm for data-driven problem solving.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and automation concepts.
- Collaborative approach to working with technical and business teams.
- Motivation to grow into advanced automation or system integration roles.
- Hybrid work model based in Bangalore, Karnataka.
