Overview

GUARDIAN ANGEL SENIOR SERVICES is looking to add caregivers to join our team who are compassionate and support elderly residents in their homes with all daily activities, while ensuring residents  safety and well-being. This includes facilitating social interactions, therapeutic conversations, and maintaining secure environments. They should demonstrate knowledge of all aspects of resident care with a sensitive approach and provide prompts to the client when needed.

For Walk-ins: 33 Boston Post Road W, Suite 310, Marlborough, MA-01752

• Supervision & assistance in bathing and dressing/undressing and other hygiene-related responsibilities
• Assistance in mobility and encouraging clients to follow prescribed exercise programs, which may include range of motion (ROM) exercises and walking
• Assistance in transferring client from bed to chair or other equipment
• Assistance in turning and repositioning the client as prescribed, including care of pressure point areas (e.g., back rubs)
• Housekeeping such as vacuuming, emptying trash, changing bed linens, and maintaining clean bathrooms and kitchens
• Laundry services
• Meal preparation and serving to clients, following all dietary requirements
• Reminding about medications and helping with pre-dosed medications
• Continence care
• Shopping for groceries and other household requirements (Not applicable for non-Drivers)
• Transportation when needed, e.g., taking clients to appointments or therapy (Not Mandatory)

• High school diploma or GED required
• HHA or CNA certification
