Role: WCI is seeking to hire a House Manager to support the Division Head/Director in overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of total support group home.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in human services (preferred) with at least one year of experience in developmental disabilities and one year of supervisory experience.
- Associate's degree in human services or related field with three years of experience in developmental disabilities and one year of supervisory experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent with four years of experience in developmental disabilities and two years of supervisory experience.
- Strong communication skills, including excellent writing abilities.
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer literacy.
- Experience using multiple systems (e.g., Log Notes, Staff Communication, Data Collection, Progress Notes, Confidential, Medical, and ISP Records, Health Care and Financial Reporting System).
- Enhance and expand the quality and scope of services.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of Individual Support Plans (ISP).
- Ensure a clean, stylish, and efficiently running home.
- Supervise and train Residential Assistant Coordinator and Support Specialists.
- Support individuals in learning and relearning skills, working in conjunction with Operations, Nursing, Clinical, HCPs, OT & PT Teams.
- Assist individuals in making choices and assuming as much responsibility as possible.
- Develop social relationships, community interests, and reintegration into the community.
- Establish a positive, energetic, and welcoming atmosphere conducive to building relationships with participants, peers, HCPs, Employment staff, DDS staff, family members, neighbors, and the community at large.
- Develop objectives, intervention strategies, and data collection methods for the Individual’s ISP; train Support Specialists and supervise their implementation.
- Collaborate with WCI Nursing and Clinical Teams to provide optimal services.
- Follow MAP Regulations and oversee staff training in MAP & DDS Regulations.
- Work with the WCI Nurse and HCPs to ensure optimal health.
- Provide ongoing training and role modeling to Direct Support/CNAs to ensure proper implementation of goals, medical treatment/nursing protocols, and clinical behavior plans.
- Ensure staff are trained in behavior plans, BMMTPs, data collection, schedules, etc., to keep services relevant and optimal for individuals.
- Allocate staff resources to support individuals in their daily schedules.
- Supervise and train Support Specialists.
- Facilitate individual participation in hiring interviews and staff evaluations.
- Conduct bi-weekly supervision with all Support Specialists.
- Support Human Rights in all daily interactions; train to be a Human Rights Advocate or designate a trainer.
- Conduct monthly Human Rights training or assign a designee.
- Perform any other tasks or responsibilities assigned by the Director of Supports.
