Intern - Small Business

Cambridge Savings Bank's Summer 2026 Internship Program is a talent pipeline program designed to provide college students with the foundation needed for a career in the banking industry and a thorough understanding of the everyday functions of a community bank. As a Small Business Intern, you will work closely with the Head of Small Business and the team, where you will gain hands‑on experience supporting small business clients in industries such as Real Estate, Professional Services and Nonprofits.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn about financial products and services tailored to small businesses while developing critical skills in client relationship management, credit analysis, and market research.

• Bank-wide orientation to introduce you to Cambridge Savings Bank (CSB).
• Project work in support of CSB's 2026 strategic priorities.

• Dedicated CSB Internship Coordinator for coaching and mentoring.

• Currently enrolled in a full‑time, undergraduate degree program.
• Consistently demonstrates teamwork, strong written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work assignments and projects.
• Demonstrates academic aptitude, a strong work ethic, and involvement in college and/or community programs.
• Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Location: Hybrid/Waltham, MA Salary Range: $17.00 - $19.00/hourly

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Cambridge Savings Bank ranges from $17.00 - $19.00/hourly. Cambridge Savings Bank will determine actual compensation for the role based on factors including, but not limited to, the successful candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
