Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Corporate & Departmental Accounting - manage all aspects of the accounting function, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable,inventory and all account reconciliations
- Financial & Management Reporting - prepare monthly financial statements and assist with monthly and annual financial reporting package, including relevant business KPIs
- Financial Forecasting and Budgeting - assist the CFO with the development and management of the annual corporate and departmental budgets, including monthly variance analysis and overall management to the budget
- External Audit, Tax and Legal - responsible for the coordination of the year-end audits and requests from tax advisors
- Compliance - manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting, or a related field
- 5-10 years of experience in accounting and finance roles, including leadership positions, preferably with private-equity backed companies and/or in public accounting
- Working knowledge of current US regulations and compliance issues and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) license preferred
- Strong understanding of pharmacy and/or pharmacy supply chain preferred
- Previous experience with Intacct preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to convey ideas on complex accounting issues
- Ability to work well with senior executives and team as well as manage/lead other team members
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills, with the ability to multitask
