WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Physical demands include dexterity for operating office machines and supplies, such as computers, telephones, electronic calculators, copy machines, and printers. Stooping, bending, and reaching for files or supplies, as well as sitting or standing for extended periods, are common.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Gann Academy seeks an Art Teacher to instruct in Media Arts and Pottery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in graphic design, photography (digital and film), video production, emerging media tools, and ceramics. We're seeking someone who combines artistic expertise with a passion for developing engaging, student-centered curriculum with clear objectives, compelling activities, and thoughtful assessments that move students toward skill and content mastery.

This full-time teaching role includes course instruction, student advising, and active participation in community life.
