Description
We are seeking a Pediatric Dental Hygienist to join our established pediatric dental practice, proudly serving families in the community for over 30 years. Our office is known for its long-standing reputation, loyal patient base, and commitment to high-quality pediatric dental care. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, energetic, and confident, working with children of all ages. You must be comfortable multitasking, engaging both patients and parents, and working collaboratively in a fast-paced pediatric environment.
Key Responsibilities- Review and update pediatric patient medical histories and dental charts
- Take diagnostic X-rays using child-appropriate techniques
- Prepare the operating rooms and patients for pediatric dental procedures
- Perform cleanings, scaling, polishing, fluoride treatments, and sealants
- Educate children and parents on oral hygiene, preventive care, and nutrition
- Use age-appropriate communication and behavior management techniques
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Follow all infection control, sterilization, and pediatric safety protocols
- Support a clean, organized, and child-friendly clinical environment
- Active Dental Hygiene license in good standing
- Pediatric experience preferred (new grads with strong interest encouraged)
- Strong understanding of preventive pediatric dental care
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and sterilization standards
- Excellent communication skills with children and parents
- Positive, calm, and team-oriented attitude

Requirements
License & Certifications
- Registered Dental Hygienist (Current State License required)
- CPR Certification (required)
(Full-time team members only)
