Telephone Collection Representative

Overview

The Allen Daniel Associates, Inc. is seeking candidates for our Telephone Collection Representative position. As one of the most experienced debt collection agencies in the Northeast, we are looking to expand our team with motivated, reliable, and hardworking individuals.

• Schedule:
  
  Monday–Friday; no nights or weekends
• Hours:
  
  Mon 9:45 AM – 6:30 PM;
  Tue–Fri 8:45 AM – 5:30 PM
• Salary: $19.00/hour
• Benefits:
  In-house paid training; health and dental insurance; earned paid vacation up to 2 weeks; personal and sick time; laid-back, business casual office environment

• Review and maintain open consumer accounts for collection efforts
• Make a high volume of outbound calls
• Record detailed notations on collection activity in the computer system
• Follow and understand collection rules and regulations
• Negotiate repayment terms and resolve disputes
• Provide timely follow-up
• Handle all calls in an ethical and professional manner

• No prior third-party debt collection experience required
• One or more years of customer service experience preferred
• Call center job experience is a plus
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer and keyboard skills are a must
• Punctual and timely attendance
• Eagerness to learn
• All candidates are required to pass a background check
