Office Administrator/ Coordinator, Administrative Management
This is a six-month, onsite opportunity with a life sciences organization in Waltham, MA, supporting site operations within an active office and laboratory environment. The role pays $25/hour and runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (40 hours per week), starting January 19th through mid-July. The position focuses on daily facility operations, administrative services, and hands-on office and lab support.
Job Responsibilities- Provide office, facility, and general lab support for the site operations team
- Support meetings, conferences, and events including room configurations and physical setup/breakdown
- Maintain inventory and manage purchasing and stocking of office and kitchen supplies
- Perform mailroom duties including sorting and distributing mail
- Collect, wash, autoclave, and manage glassware and lab materials
- Supervise onsite vendors and assist with relocation, move support, and general site needs
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related industry; lab experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a positive, dependable attitude
- Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs and perform routine physical tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and use discretion
