Our client, a full-service CPA firm with over 40 years of experience delivering exceptional client service, is seeking Senior / Supervisor Tax Accountant to join their dynamic team in a collaborative, flexible, and respectful environment.
Our client works with an exciting mix of industries, including biotech, breweries/distilleries, and manufacturing—providing professionals the opportunity to make an impact across diverse sectors.
What You’ll DoAs a Senior / Supervisor Tax Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality tax services for clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Tax Preparation & Review: Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations.
- Tax Research & Compliance: Conduct research to ensure compliance with current laws and regulations; communicate regulatory changes to clients and team members.
- Tax Planning & Advisory: Provide strategic tax planning, analyze financial statements, and identify tax‑saving opportunities.
- Client Consulting: Advise clients on tax implications of transactions, investments, and financial decisions.
- Audit Support: Assist with tax audits, prepare supporting schedules, and calculate tax provisions for financial reporting.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and proactive communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s in Taxation or CPA preferred)
- Minimum 4 years of tax experience in public accounting or corporate tax
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and reporting requirements
- Proficiency with tax software (CCH Axcess) and Quick Books
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client and team collaboration
