We are recruiting a Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to join a well-established organisation operating within the commercial oil sector, supporting the handling, storage, and movement of oil-based products.
This is a hands-on and physically demanding role, suitable for candidates who are comfortable combining forklift operation with manual warehouse duties.
Key Responsibilities
Operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently
Organising and maintaining a clean and well-structured warehouse
Handling and stacking fresh oil pallets
Managing waste oil barrels, including moving and positioning them correctly
Assisting drivers with loading and unloading vehicles
Ensuring stock is stored safely and in line with health and safety procedures
Physical Requirements
Regular manual handling is required
Some oil barrels can be up to 100 litres
The role involves a mix of FLT work and physical warehouse tasks throughout the day
Requirements
Valid counterbalance forklift licence (essential)
Previous warehouse or FLT experience
Physically fit and comfortable with demanding work
Reliable, organised, and safety-focused
