Social Work Matters - Children's Social Worker Recruitment

To attend a minimum of two panel evenings per month and commit to at least 12 months of volunteering following training.

Full training is provided with further supervision, support and training throughout the year.

Expenses Covered

We reimburse reasonable travel expenses against receipts and provide refreshments.

Requirements
  • Represent your local community – men and women, 18 years and over, from every ethnic and social background, committed to making a difference for the children of Walsall.
  • Must demonstrate good communication skills, motivation, reliability, sensitivity, flexibility, discretion, commitment and negotiation.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
Working Arrangements
