• A competitive base salary of £38,625, with on-target earnings of up to £50,000
• A guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities
• 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays

As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division, you’ll bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers, wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, you’ll deliver first-class service without the constraints of a traditional garage.

• Earnings That Motivate - base salary £38,625, with opportunity to increase earnings up to £50,000 through bonuses and premium-rate overtime. A full-time 40-hour week, with Monday-Saturday availability (8am-8pm)

• You're someone who gets people. This isn’t just spanners and engines—our mechanics are out there on driveways, chatting with customers, and representing the RAC with pride. Every fix, every chat, every driveway visit shows what we’re all about.
• You like mixing things up. Every day’s a little different—servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and checks. You’ll also manage stock, do reporting, and maintain customer conversations.
• You think on your feet. You’ll be trusted to think on your feet and make the right call for each customer.

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
• At least 3 years' hands-on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
