Commercial Electrician – West Midlands
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Electrician to join our client’s building services portfolio across the West Midlands. The role will involve working across offices, council buildings, schools, and other public‑sector facilities, travelling mainly within and around Birmingham.
Key Responsibilities• Electrical Installation and Maintenance – EICRs, reactive maintenance and fault finding.
• Installation works – new system installations and remedial works.
• Testing & Inspection – comply with Wiring Regulations 17th/18th Edition and 2391/2394/2395.
• Site travel – manage multiple sites across the commercial portfolio.
- NVQ in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) – 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Testing & Inspection 2391 (or equivalent) – AM2
Gold Card - 3+ years post‑apprenticeship experience in commercial sites
- Full UK driving licence, DBS check, Gold Card
- Based within commuting distance of Birmingham
- £37,000 – £42,000 (base salary)
- Pension – up to 5%
- Working hours – 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (overtime available)
- Annual bonus scheme

- Company van with fuel card
