Automatic Gate & Barrier Engineer - Birmingham

I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing specialist in the automatic gate and barrier industry. They're looking to add an experienced Service & Maintenance Engineer to their team to support continued growth across the Birmingham and surrounding area.

• Service, maintenance, and fault‑finding on automated gates, barriers, and access control systems
• Cover residential and commercial sites across South East and South London
• Carry out routine maintenance and reactive call‑outs
• Liaise with customers to deliver high‑quality service and technical support

• 2‑3+ years’ experience working with automated gates and barriers
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault‑finding skills
• Confident working on swing/sliding gates, barriers, motors, control panels, and safety devices
• Full UK driving licence is essential
• DHF, Gate Safe, or CSCS certifications are desirable but not essential
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, can‑do attitude

• Basic salary of £38,000 – £42,000 (dependent on experience)
• Company van, tools, fuel card, PPE, and other necessary equipment provided
