Retail Assistant – Part Time, Early Starts

Hours: 20 hours across 4 days per week.
Pay: £10.10 - £12.31 per hour.

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Brownhills, West Midlands. We offer a permanent part‑time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 20 hours worked over 4 days from 7 h each week, including weekends.

Note:

This position requires you to be available for early‑morning shifts. It may not be suitable if you cannot work early mornings.

The amount you earn depends on your age:

• Ages 16‑20 = £10.10 per hour
• Ages 21+ = £12.31 per hour

• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, helping to pack and leaving a good impression.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep our shop safe, clean, and tidy.

• A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy as there is always something to do; you’ll move between deliveries, till, floor, cleaning, and stock routines.
• Reliability; you’ll be an important part of a small team and customers depend on you to deliver best service each shift.
• Flexibility with shifts; we may need you to work slightly different hours to cover for teammates. Rotas are planned three weeks in advance and our commitments outside work will always be considered.
