This is not repetitive jig work.

This is not production-line welding.

This is a hands‑on, project‑led engineering role where you’ll be involved from start to finish on bespoke builds.

Workforce Staffing are recruiting on behalf of a well‑established and growing engineering manufacturer operating in a project‑driven fabrication and assembly environment.

Due to continued growth, we’re looking for an experienced Fabricator / Welder / Fitter to join a skilled and supportive engineering team.

Approx. 30% Welding & Fabrication / 70% Mechanical Fitting & Assembly

• MIG welding (TIG experience highly advantageous)

• Fabricating engineered structures

• Mechanical fitting and assembly of bespoke equipment

• Working from detailed engineering drawings

• Building projects from initial fabrication through to final assembly

• Working in a covered outdoor workshop environment

• Collaborating closely with an experienced engineering team

This is a varied, practical role where no two builds are identical.

• Experienced Fabricator / Welder / Fitter

• Confident reading and working from engineering drawings

• Strong mechanical fitting and assembly skills

• Comfortable working independently once trained

• Reliable, positive team player

• Experience in project‑based or bespoke fabrication environments desirable

• £16.50 – £18.50 per hour (depending on experience)

• Permanent, full‑time position

• Day shift:
  Monday–Friday (08:00 – 16:30 typical)
