Skilled TIG Welder

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading Engineering company, in their search for a Skilled TIG Welder to work in their workshop based in
Brownhills.

For the successful TIG Welder, our client is offering:

• Rate of pay up to £18.50 Per Hour
• Monday to Thursday 7:45 am- 4:30 pm and 7:45 am to 1:30 on Fridays
• Overtime is available - Evenings in the week x1.33 / Sat x1.5 / Sundays x2
• Temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate

The Role - TIG Welder:

• Coded welding
• 6G Welding position ideally (2G considered)
• Welding of stainless and carbon steel tubes (Butt Welds and fillets) and plates
• Positional welding on pressure vessels, pressure parts and superheater pipework
• Most welds are to be X-ray standard as well as MPI/DPI

What our client is looking for in a TIG Welder:

• Must have relevant experience
  - ESSENTIAL
• Be confident with 6G or 2G TIG welding
  - ESSENTIAL
• Previous qualifications/coding
  - ADVANTAGEOUS
• A weld trade test will be required, which will be x-rayed
• Will be able for butt welds to pass X-ray. DPI and MPI
