The role of Print Room Operator is:

* To support the Print Room Supervisor in the efficient operation and maintenance of all print room equipment.

* The role is responsible for assisting with day-to-day print room activities, making informed operational decisions within their level of responsibility, and supporting the troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues.

* The role ensures all activities are carried out in compliance with health and safety standards, approved procedures, and quality requirements.

* In addition, the role assists with planning and organisation of print room activities, and coordinates and arranges external servicing and maintenance with approved vendors to ensure equipment reliability and minimal downtime.

The suitable Print Room Operator will have:

* Experience working in a similar environment

* Possess Technical knowledge of digital and/or offset printing equipment.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

* Basic IT skills to effectively use and manage software systems utilised in the print room.

* Experience in operating printing equipment and performing routine equipment maintenance.

* The Capability to identify and resolve print issues quickly.

* Be experienced handling of print materials and equipment.

The successful Print Room Operator will receive:
