Alliance Personnel are currently recruiting for 2 x Shift Managers to join one of their clients based in Smethwick.
MAIN DUTIESTo be responsible for the daily production issues during the designated shift. You will lead a team to meet production targets while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and health and safety at the lowest cost.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES- To be responsible for achieving the daily production plans.
- To be responsible for achieving the daily productivity targets.
- To monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- To always maintain a “tour-ready” facility, leading the team through internal and external quality audits.
- To oversee rigorous cleaning protocols and changeover procedures to prevent cross-contamination.
- To be responsible for handling all shop floor personnel issues.
- To conduct 1st level attendance / disciplinary meetings and foster a culture of accountability.
- Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills.
- Must have proven management experience ideally within a food manufacturing environment.
- Computer literate
- Degree educated is preferable.
- Must be responsible, committed and positive.
40 hours per week – Day Shift (Monday to Friday)
