Tool Setter

Tool Setter, £15 £ 17 per hour, Walsall £15 £ 17 per hour depending on experience  holiday, pension scheme and ongoing training. Full-time, permanent role 37.5 hours per week. Monday-Thursday 7am-3.30pm. Friday 7am-12.30pm. Well-established engineering business with varied presswork and tooling. Are you an experienced Tool Setter / Press Setter looking for a steady role with good hourly pay and consistent work?

Tool Setter Role:
Set mechanical presses up to 50 tons Set hydraulic presses up to 200 tons (Lagan press experience an advantage) Set and operate double action and fly presses Operate presses on development or small batch work when required Work from technical drawings and maintain quality standards Maintain tooling organisation, housekeeping and HSE standards Communicate with the Works Manager and Operations team

About you:

Proven press setting experience (mechanical / hydraulic / fly presses) Able to work accurately to drawings Quality-driven and safety-focused Organised approach to press shop tooling Lathe experience beneficial but not essential This Tool Setter Job is based in Walsall and is commutable from Birmingham, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Aldridge, Cannock, Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield & surrounding areas.
