Site Services & Security Manager

A leading manufacturing company is seeking a proactive Site Services & Security Manager to oversee all aspects of facilities, security, and site operations. You will ensure the site runs safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulations, while leading a small team of support staff.

Key Responsibilities / Duties
  • Manage and maintain all site security systems and protocols, including CCTV, access control, and emergency procedures
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of facilities, including maintenance, cleaning, waste management, and contractor performance
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and internal company policies
  • Develop and implement site-wide policies, procedures, and risk assessments
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the site services team, providing coaching and development opportunities
  • Coordinate with senior management to plan budgets and capital projects for site improvements
  • Act as the primary contact for external contractors and service providers
Skills / Competencies
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to analyse and improve operational processes
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of health & safety, security, and facilities management best practices
  • Ability to respond quickly and decisively to incidents or emergencies
Qualifications / Experience
  • Proven experience in facilities, site services, or security management
  • Solid understanding of UK health & safety regulations
  • Experience managing small teams and coordinating multiple operational functions
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, facilities management) are desirable
