We are seeking an outstanding individual to lead our property investment and sustainability function. This pivotal role involves managing a high‑performing team responsible for delivering investment programmes and sustainability initiatives across our property portfolio. A key focus will be ensuring the effective collection and use of asset data to enable informed decision‑making and drive innovative approaches to property management. Strong leadership will be essential in engaging residents, improving the efficiency of homes, and delivering complex investment and regeneration projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a high‑performing team delivering investment programmes and sustainability initiatives across the property portfolio.
- Ensure effective collection and use of asset data to support informed decision‑making and innovative property management.
- Engage residents and stakeholders to reflect their needs in investment priorities.
- Deliver complex investment and regeneration projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Inspire and motivate the teamincorrectly, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Oversee asset intelligence collection, storage, and reporting to maintain regulatory compliance and support the Asset Management Strategy.
- Develop and implement strategies for property investment and sustainability, including achieving Net Zero carbon targets.
- Manage procurement and contractor relationships to ensure robust performance and value for money.
- Act as a subject‑matter expert in asset management, building safety, and energy efficiency.
- Significant experience in property and sustainability strategy within the social housing sector.
- Strong commercial acumen and risk‑management skills.
- Effective leadership and communication skills, able to influence and negotiate at all levels.
- Relevant degree or professional qualifications such as CIOB or RICS membership are desirable.
- Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle or effective use of public transport.
