Position: Engineering Supervisor - Days (Permanent)
Electrical Supervisor | Walsall | £57,000 | Monday to Friday

Let’s be honest: most Electrical Supervisor roles are just "glorified maintenance" with more paperwork. This isn’t one of them.

A leader in their manufacturing sector, and they don’t just make products; they manage high-speed, industrial automation.

They are looking for a technical authority - someone who knows their way around PLC's (ideally) and to lead the electrical team into a digital-first future.

The Mission

You aren't just "fixing things.". Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will:

Own the Standards:
From software version control to LOTO processes, you set the bar for "what good looks like."
Mentor the Team:
You’ll take our shift electricians from "good" to "elite" through hands-on coaching and performance development.
Drive the Tech:
Support our site’s digitalisation strategy. If there’s a repeat issue, you’re the one finding the root cause and killing it for good.
Lead the Projects:
Manage capital project electrical scopes and third-party contractors.

Are You the One?

You’re an electrically biased engineer, Level 3 qualified, and you don’t mind getting your hands dirty when the situation demands it.

The Brains:
Strong Siemens PLC experience and a deep understanding of UK electrical legislation.
The Badge: 18th Edition (BS 7671).
The Backbone:
Previous experience supervising teams in a manufacturing industry.
The Vibe:
You’re a safety-first leader who enjoys mentoring others.
