36 hours per week (12-hour shifts, 8pm-8am)

Rate of Pay: £12.80 per hour

• Strong experience supervising care staff
• Proven ability in care planning and high-quality care delivery
• Experience in ordering, administering, and safely storing medication
• Excellent communication skills
• A solid understanding of health, safety and welfare
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• Flexibility to support a 7‑day rota
• Professional boundaries while working as part of a team

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
• Up-to-date statutory and mandatory training, including:
• Fire Safety, COSHH, Health & Safety
• Dignity, Elder Abuse, Care Act 2014
• Moving & Handling
• Infection Control
• Managing Behaviours that Challenge / Safety Intervention
• Safe Administration of Medication
• Safeguarding
• Food Hygiene

• Dementia awareness and experience supporting individuals with complex needs
• Strong background in person-centred care
• Experience supervising staff and managing shift allocations
• Auditing care documentation and incident reporting
• Knowledge of safe medication practices
• Understanding of skill mix and team leadership
• Essential knowledge of health, safety and welfare
• Preferred candidates will also have experience working with older adults and individuals living with dementia.
