Finance Officer

You will be responsible for rent accounting, cash management, banking activities, maintaining the cash book, petty cash reconciliations, and overseeing all aspects of the purchase ledger/accounts payable function.

The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience in financial accounting and computerised financial systems, along with excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, prioritisation, organisational, and IT skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level and Microsoft Word is also required.

• Responsible for rent accounting, cash management, banking, cash book and petty cash reconciliations.
• Responsible for the accounts payable and receivable function.
• Work within the organisation’s Equal Opportunities Policy, Health and Safety Policy and Customer Service Policies ensuring that these are complied with through all Finance activities within the scope of this role.
• Ensure the activities of the finance function are carried out to the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in accordance with the requirements of the Regulator and relevant legislation.
