Credit Controller

Salary :
Competitive plus bonus
Monday to Friday 09.00 to 17.00
Our well established client based in Walsall are currently on the search for an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team. This role is integral to ensuring the financial arm of the business runs smoothly. Experience working for a professional services company such as legal, accounting, finance, management consulting and other specialist advisory services is essential.
Key ResponsibilitiesCredit Control Duties :
- Proactively manage debtor balances to reduce aged debt.
- Contact overdue debtors daily using various communication methods.
- Liaise with internal teams to resolve outstanding queries.
- Issue court proceedings for unpaid debts and manage enforcement action.
- Prepare statements, breakdowns, and account summaries.
- Take payments both in-person and over the phone, issuing receipts as required.
- Post receipts and payments to ledgers accurately.
The ideal Credit Controller will demonstrate :
- 2+ Years in the Legal Sector or working for a professional services company such as accounting, finance, management consulting and other specialist advisory services
