Area Sales Manager

Overview

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer required to join a leading provider of mechanical engineering products and services.

• Develop new business opportunities, manage key accounts and provide technical expertise of engineering products and services to the water industry, with a municipal focus.
• Maintain mechanical engineering product sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
• Provide technical expertise of products within the water industry and be involved in the sales process from enquiry through to project closure.
• Work remotely/field based with regular visits to customer sites.
• Liaise with various engineering departments.

• Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within mechanical engineering.
• Ideally experience selling or managing key accounts of mechanical/industrial products, ideally within the water industry, or similar. Full product training provided.
• Candidates with experience within the municipal sector, selling products or services are highly encouraged to apply.
• Full clean driving license.
• Willingness to operate remotely with travel to customer sites.
