My client is seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support the introduction of new and existing products from concept through to full‑scale production. This is a hands‑on role focused on delivering robust, efficient manufacturing solutions using lean principles in a high‑precision engineering environment.

• Lead end‑to‑end manufacturing process development from design through production
• Create detailed manufacturing documentation, setup packs, SOPs and tooling logs
• Generate offline CNC programs for milling and turning (3-, 4- and 5‑axis)
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and machine prove‑out activities
• Drive continuous improvement, waste reduction and process optimisation
• Contribute to quality activities including PFMEA and non‑conformance resolution
• Design and specify tooling and fixtures to enhance machining capability
• Lead technical discussions with customers and suppliers

• HNC or higher in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• Strong CNC machining background with online and offline programming
• Proven experience with 3-, 4- and 5‑axis milling and turning
• Solid understanding of ISO
  9001 and AS9100 standards
• Experience with APQP, PFMEA and NPI projects
• Competent in CAD/CAM systems; ability to adapt to different platforms
• Knowledge of tooling, fixturing, inspection techniques and a range of metals
