Monday to Thursday 07:00-16:30 and Friday 07:00-15:00

Oliver Rae is on the hunt for an experienced Design Engineer to join our prestigious client in the heart of Aldridge. If you've got design experience within manufacturing and engineering we would love to hear from you!

What will you be doing?

Use of CAD programming to quote one dimensional shape to prepare accurate quotes through use of SIGMA.
Order processing - Inputting order details into the company CRM system, ensuring complete and accurate data entry.
Address any discrepancies or issues with orders, seeking clarification from customers when necessary.
Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely order fulfilment.
Dealing with customer enquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, and order status.
Build rapport with existing customers and identify potential cross-selling opportunities.
Generate sales leads through outbound calls to existing customers or qualified prospects.
Collaborate with the sales team to provide product information and support customer quotations.
Follow up on outstanding orders and ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate customer records and data within the CRM system.
Assist with inventory management and stock updates .
Constantly be involved in any improvements and ideas to increase speed, accuracy and standardisation within the entire process.

Requirements:

Must have CAD experience within manufacturing and engineering industry.
Must be able to understand and interpret drawings.
