Head Of Music (MPS/UPR - Dependant On Experience)

Are you an enthusiastic and committed teacher of Music who is ready to enhance the provision of Music at Blue Coat?

We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified professional who is passionate and knowledgeable to teach and lead the development of Music across the school. This post includes a subject leadership responsibility (TLR 2b £5872) in a subject area central to the school’s Christian ethos, with potential for further growth.

The role will encompass:

• Leading the music curriculum and ensuring high-quality teaching.
• Coordinating music provision across all year groups.
• Supporting staff and developing professional learning in music.
• Representing the music department in school improvement activities.

Candidates should have:

• Relevant teaching qualification (MPS/UPR or equivalent).
• Experience in music teaching and leadership.
• Strong commitment to the school’s Christian values.
