Teaching Assistant KS2

We are currently seeking a dedicated and nurturing Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Walsall primary school, providing 1:1 support for a KS2 child (Year 5/6). This role is ideal for someone who is patient, proactive, and passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualised 1:1 support to a child in Year 5/6, helping them access learning and stay engaged.

Assist with classroom activities, small-group interventions, and personalised learning tasks.

Support emotional regulation, confidence building, and positive behaviour strategies.

Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCo to follow support plans.

Promote a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.

Requirements:
Experience working with children in KS2, ideally on a 1:1 basis.

Understanding of SEND, SEMH, or behaviour support is highly beneficial.

A calm, positive, and adaptable approach.

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one). Strong communication and relationship-building skills What you'll get in return :
