Zest Education are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a special educational school located in Walsall.
This exciting full-time role will commence ASAP and continue for the remainder of the academic year, offering a long-term opportunity to contribute to the development and growth of the students.

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping the students discover and nurture their individual strengths. To excel in this position, you must have a calm, positive, and pro-active approach to supporting children within the classroom. Previous experience working with SEND pupils, especially those with complex learning needs, is essential. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will work with students of various age groups within the school, so adaptability and the ability to improvise quickly are crucial.
Moreover, your excellent behaviour management skills and effective collaboration within a team setting will contribute to maintaining a supportive learning environment.

Zest Education are an APSCo audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
