Actual salary: £24,998 to £26,682 per annum - 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum.
OverviewPool Hayes Academy is looking to appoint a self‑motivated and confident Inclusion Room Manager, with a real drive to enhance students’ experience of secondary education.
The successful candidate will lead and develop our inclusion provision by providing high quality support for students who would have otherwise received fixed‑term exclusions. The role manages all aspects of the Inclusion Room, working with Heads of Year and Pastoral Leaders to ensure all students are supported with their learning and progress. The Inclusion Room Manager will also liaise with Senior Leaders, SENCO, colleagues, parents/carers and external agencies.
Responsibilities- Lead and develop the inclusion provision.
- Provide high quality support for students at risk of exclusion.
- Manage the Inclusion Room and coordinate with Heads of Year and Pastoral Leaders.
- Liaise with Senior Leaders, SENCO, stakeholders and external agencies.
- Maintain a professional manner in challenging situations and challenge difficult behaviour.
- Good basic level of education to GCSE level 4/C (including English and Maths).
- Ability to maintain professionalism in challenging situations.
