Learning Support Assistant; Maternity Cover - Whitehall Nursery & Infant Academy

We wish to appoint a learning support assistant for five mornings a week – 20 hrs per week to join our successful and supportive staff team at this wonderful school. The role will provide support for children in class who have special educational needs.

The job will start immediately subject to successful recruitment checks and DBS; the post is to cover maternity leave.

Whitehall Nursery & Infant Academy has a secure and caring ethos and the staff work well together to include and support all pupils.

You will be working very closely with the Inclusion Manager and other staff within the class to support both academic progress and basic pragmatics. Experience of working with children with ASD would be an advantage. Experience of basic child development and good maths and literacy skills are essential.
